Threshold to comply with part M

Part M of the building regulations requires that a threshold should be no more that 15mm high. The NEOS standard thresh arrangement complies with the requirement whilst also providing a double weather seal. The thresh comprises a steel flat bat which is welded to the door jambs with an aluminium extrusion sitting on top of it. The seals are located in the lower edge of the door leaf.

Other thresh arrangements are possible, including drop down threshes and threshes with a thermal break , but they are not our standard for various reasons.
